Secondly, the magazine I am choosing to analyse is an RNB magazine. The title is printed in a large yellow font to draw attention to the audience and by it being this bright colour, the title ‘SCRATCH’ will be the focal point and may be remembered. Also, the bold, black outline of the title makes it stand out even more to grab attention. By looking at the image tells people straight away that the magazine is RNB/Hip hop music as Lil Wayne is an RNB artist. With the main photo in front of the title it looks as if he is popping out of the page, this would appeal to Lil Wayne fans. The photograph of a DJ is placed next to Lil Wayne and his name is in bright blue under Lil Wayne’s, this may appeal to the fans but could also shows that he isn’t as important as Lil Wayne. ‘Lil Wayne’ is printed in a big white font which stands out from the dark background; also it indicates that he is the main feature of the magazine. ‘SIMPLY THE BEST’ is in a slightly less bright yellow; this is so it doesn’t take the attention off the title.
