My Target Audience.

For my magazine, my target audience would be people aged between 16-25, and it would appeal mainly to females. They would most likely be middle class people who would fit into the psychographic profile of mainstreamers. I would like the audience to see the image on the front cover and want to aspire to be like them. My target audience would shop in places like H&M, Topshop, River Island, Bank and Superdry as they are affordable but very fashionable too as some celebrities do shop in high street shops as well as designer. They would listen to Kiss radio station and maybe interested in artists such as Rihanna, the Saturdays, Eminem, Kings of Leon, Pixie Lott and Ellie Goulding. The TV programmes they would watch would be Inbetweeners and Skins as they are very popular and relate to what students do and go through. Their hobbies would be going to music festivals as that includes drinking, music and socializing with friends. Also, they would go shopping most weekends. My target audience would eat at places like McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King and Domino’s as they are quick fast food restaurants and very cheap as students will be able to afford. They would maybe have a Saturday job working at a shop near to where they live so it would be easy to get to.
